Grand Forks Kiwanis SunRisers, in conjunction with the Grand Forks Park District, applied for and were awarded a $5,000 grant from Kiwanis International to help fund the Park District’s annual Santa Village (held in December 2007). The Kiwanis International grant was a key factor in making this event possible at no cost to community groups, group homes, nursing home residents and the many area families who enjoyed it. Some families shared that the day they spent at Santa Village was their “Christmas”. |
