Here is a chance for your club to get your gift to the Kiwanis International Foundation matched by Kiwanis International. By sending in your Clubs annual club gift or if you have already done so, your Skip a Meal contribution by April 30th 2010, Kiwanis International will match it. This is the first time I have seen this done. But what a way to help the Children of the World. At the present time we are behind last year by a considerable amount. We are only at $2.38 per member and last year at this time we were over $3.00 per member. Look what is happening in our district with the flooding and our own Kiwanians in need of help. This is where the foundation is helping in our area. We were able to give 4 Key Club and Circle/K scholarships this year because of our generous giving by your clubs. If your club has not participated in either the ANNUAL CLUB GIFT CAMPAIGN OR SKIP A MEAL PROGRAM, please remind them that they can double their money if it is done by the end of April. Thank you Kiwanis members in the Minn-Dak district for all you do for Kiwanis and the Children of the World. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN.
