August 13,14,15, 2010 will be the annual District Kiwanis Convention. This gathering of Kiwanians and their families will be at the Fargo Doublewood Inn, in Fargo, ND This convention will again give all of the Kiwanis delegates the opportunity to elect the new officers for the 2010-2011 Kiwanis year. Conventions like this give us all an opportunity to enjoy hearing what other clubs are doing as well as attending educational sessions to learn more about the organization we all belong too. Plan now to attend, and be sure your club delegates are elected to attend and help with the business portion of the convention. Remember all members are welcome at the convention and we try to make it a true family type function so bring your partner and enjoy a weekend in Fargo, ND. There will be tours and functions for the partners so there will be something for everyone. This is your convention so be sure your club is represented and that they have some funding to make it an enjoyable weekend.
