The second K-Kids Club in Rochester, MN sponsored by the Day Makers Kiwanis Club was chartered on Thursday, March 18th at Harriet Bishop Elementary School.
Governor Bruce Klair and Region 7 Lt. Governor Denis Cornell were present to install the officers of the K-Kids. They both helped with the induction of the 30 charter members from grades 4 and 5 and the 3 faculty advisors for the club.
The K-Kids club meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. Their meetings are held from 3:40 to 4:30 pm in the library of the school. At their meetings they are assisted by members from the Key Clubs of Century High School and John Marshall High School of Rochester as well as members from the Day Makers Kiwanis Club.
