At this years Kiwanis District convention in Fargo, ND on August 13,14,15, 2010 there will be another First TImer's luncheon and reception for all of the first time attendees at the convention. Each year for the past 4-5 years we have greeted the First Timers with this reception and luncheon, to help them become more acquainted with what to look for and expect at the convention. This gathering takes place at 12:00 noon on Friday August 13th, just ahead of the opening of the convention at 1:00pm. Several of the District Directors, plus the Kiwanis Governor will be at the session to greet you all, and you will also have a chance to meet others that are attending for the first time. We will also present you with a special ribbon to attach to your name tag, so others at the convention can identify who you are and if you have questions they will be glad to help as well. Be sure to note on your registration when you register for the convention that you are a First Timer and there is a nominal fee of $5.00 for a partial payment of the box lunch you will receive when you arrive at the session.
