Thief River Falls Kiwanis hosted its annual picnic for the community on June 22 from 5 to 7 at Northrup Park. The Picnic Shelter for the Playground donated by Kiwanis was finished this month for the event. The TRF Kiwanis Club has raised about $5,000.00 for the shelter. Donations came from the club's annual rummage sale, pancake breakfast and picnic in the park.
